MUSIC: First Kpop Star featured in a Treasure Book

The Treasure Book series has published volumes on iconic entertainers filled with never release photos, special stories, history and fun facts about legendary stars for fans world wide. Some Treasure Books even include memorabilia for fans. There are Treasure books on Michael Jackson, Marilyn Monroe, Japanese baseball player Sadaharu Oh, John Wayne, Elvis Presley, Audrey Hepburn, The Beatles, Bruce Lee, Star Wars, and Mickey Mouse just to name a few.


Recently Kim Jaejoong was selected to be the first Korean artist to be selected to have a Treasure book published about him. His Treasure book is called Love & Rebirth and was published in April of 2017. 

Kim Jaejoong was born January 26, 1986 as Han Jaejoong then was adopted and became Kim Jae-joong. He grew up with a loving family and lots of sisters. He was taken up by SM Entertainment and debuted as a singer with TVXQ also known as DBSK, a popular Korean boy bands in the mid 2000s. During this time Jaejoong was a singer, actor, model, and composer. TVXQ was in the Guinness Book of World Records in 2008 for largest fan club and 2009 for being the most photographed celebrity. After several years of world wide fame the group TVXQ was broken due to a law suit with the company. Jaejoong along with band members Kim Junsu and Park Yoochun turned into JYJ and started their own record label company called CJES, while members Shim Changmin and Jung Yunho stayed with SM Entertainment as a TVXQ duo group.

Kim Jaejoong has done a lot during these years finishing his mandatory two year military enlistment as well as adding on director and designer to his list of talents. 

Fans can follow Kim Jaejoong live on the popular V Live app where artists can broadcast live to their fans from music specials to road trips or even just chats sitting on a sofa. Fans can even send comments live and get response from the artist. 


Recently in May 2017, Kim Jaejoong was announced as honorary ambassador for Paradise City. Paradise City is  the first Korean style entertainment resort including hotel, spa, special events, dining and more. Kim Jaejoong will be featured in advertisement for the resort.

Kim Jaejoong's Treasure book is 160 pages, including private diary entries from his days in the military, never before seen photos, signature card, photo cards, drawings and more.

Officials of the publishing company stated, “We wanted to work with an artist who has a worldwide influence. Of course there are worldwide musicians in Japan as well, but we selected Jaejoong for his leadership in K-POP that left a big impact on the global market.”
