GLOBAL: Kim Jong Il's Children: Ya, there is more then one!

Now fun fact you don't hear much about, Kim Jong Il had five children. Well start from oldest to youngest. 

Kim Jong Nam, born 1971 - died 2017. Kim Jong Nam lost favored in 2001 and died in 2017. Suspicion is that he was killed by North Korean Agents. This news did make headline! There was a lot of weirdness to this case.  Malaysia was reported to have said that they would not release the body without a DNA sample from the Kim family to prove that their were kin. You can image how that went over with North Korea. According to Daily Star, the Kim family was denying the identity of the deceased until Kim Jong Name's son offered the DNA which confirmed the deceased was Kim Jong Nam. According to Daily Star, the body was not claimed. CNN reported that a nerve agent was used in Malaysia at the airport and he was dead within 20 minutes.

Kim Sul Song, born 1974. Still living. An article from NK News indicated there might be more to her then meets the eye. Apparently she was the center of power during their father's reign. Mind you this article is from 2014 who knows what's be going on behind the scenes. Not much on her unfortunately.

Kim Jong Chul, born 1981. He was passed up for successor by his younger brother despite growing support. According to the memoirs of Kim Jong Il's chef, Kim Jong Il called his son a 'little girl'.

Next of course is Kim Jong Un, born 1984. Need I say more?

Last is Kim Yo Jong, born 1987 (She's the same age as me!!). According to Thae Yong ho, a North Korean defector and former diplomat, Kim Yp Jong is currently in charge of all major public events in North Korea and encouraged her brother to have a 'man of the people' appearance.
